  • Halloween Parade and Carnival - October 31, 2017

    Only students in grades K-5 may wear costumes to school on Tuesday, October 31st. The schoolyard parade, weather permitting, will begin at 8:30 a.m. sharp. Remember...we would like everyone to have a fun and safe Halloween! Carnival begins at 9:00 a.m.

  • Costume Party for Middle School - Monday, Oct. 30th, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

    The entry fee for the party will be one or two canned goods that can be donated to our November Food Drive. The students will enjoy an evening of desserts and dancing. All students should be dressed in age-appropriate costumes that will not restrict them from having a good time. A letter of invitation/permission slip was distributed and must be returned with a parent signature by Monday, October 30th. Students must come to school on October 30th in order to come to the party.

    Join our PTA cabinet on Thursday, October 19th, at 8:30 a.m. for their monthly meeting. Two important items on the agenda are  Halloween Festivities at P.S. 232 and Mr. Collins, our asst. principal, will discuss safety protocols and drills that take place throughout the school year!

  • Principal's Breakfast on Monday, October 16th - "Self-Help for Parents and Their Children - Meditation and Stress Reduction"

    Join us this Monday for our first Principal's Breakfast of the school year! Alectra Dandridge, a DOE mental health expert, will join us and share with parents activities of stress reduction and meditation at home. Breakfast will also be served, sponsored by Ms. Josephson, the principal, and Ms. DiBenedetto, our parent coordinator.

Grades 5 - 8 EVERDAY - Main Schoolyard Entrance on 84th Street to Classrooms at 8:05 a.m. sharp

Grade 3 and 4 - Green Doors next to main entrance on 83rd Street

Grades 1 and 2 - Green Doors INSIDE the kiddie playground, entrance on 83rd Street

Breakfast is served everyday at 7:40 a.m. Cafeteria entrance on 84th Street ramp.
